Role Overview
Reporting to the Director of Estates Optimisation, you will oversee the Estates and Facilities operations and asset management functions across Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. You will serve as a senior leader and line manager for the Estates and Facilities Department, bearing overall responsibility for estates, facilities, project management, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Implement and deliver the Estates & Facilities Strategy across the Trust, ensuring alignment with service strategy, maximising efficiency, and enhancing effectiveness.
2. Coordinate a large estate as tenant, landlord, and owner across multiple partners and care sectors, providing high-quality, cost-effective building maintenance and asset management services.
3. Manage the Estates Capital programme effectively.
4. Ensure estates compliance with statutory and best practice requirements to deliver a safe and legal service.
5. Provide regular performance reports on Estates and Facilities Services' key performance indicators to the Trust Board.
6. Resolve complex and sensitive issues that may conflict with the Estates Strategy and Trust objectives.
7. Deputise for the Director of Estates and Facilities.
