Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Cover Supervisor to work in a secondary school based in the S36 area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in education or for those seeking flexible work within a school environment.
The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. You will ensure students remain on task with the work set and maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising whole classes across various subjects
* Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Supporting students with their learning where appropriate
* Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
The Ideal Candidate:
* Confident and professional when working with young people
* Strong classroom management skills
* Reliable, adaptable, and organised
* Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable (but not essential)
* Ability to drive is desirable due to the school location

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
