Experienced Manufacturing Technician
We have an opportunity for an Experienced Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Honeywell, in Edinburgh, where you will employ critical thinking in a clean room environment, and use your knowledge to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.
This is a full time, permanent role, with the following shift pattern:
Mondays - Thursdays 8:25am - 5:05pm, Fridays 8:25am - 1:20pm

Key Responsibilities
* Hand assembly of Microwave Components, using soldering techniques
* Mechanical Assembly following a prescribed build process
* Following detailed assembly instructions
* Microwave testing using network analysers and fault finding on microwave products
* Following detailed test instructions
* Carrying out visual quality checks and packing, as well as labelling of finished parts
* Identify manufacturing improvements
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Understanding of microwave signals / electrical circuitry
* Previous experience working within an Assembly / Manufacturing environment
* Excellent attention to detail
* Proven competence in a similar role
* Excellent dexterity and hand- eye co-ordination
