You wouldjoin our MDDUS group indemnity cover, which is paid for by the practice.
Main duties of the job
Your workingday will consist of face-to-face appointments, telephone appointments, videoConsultations, home visits and administration work, Sick notes, Lab Results,prescriptions referrals etc. When required, assist with the weekly Ward Roundof our Care Homes.
You would beincluded in the Duty Doctor rota.
You would beinvolved in achieving QOF.
An interestin Minor surgery would be beneficial but not essential.

We are afriendly GP practice located in the village of Armthorpe, Doncaster, serving a patientlist of 6250 patients.
We are partof the Doncaster East PCN.
Our teamconsists of two GP partners, and an ANP with 4 Practice Nurses and a HCAsupporting the services we offer. We also have receptionists, admin staff, aPractice Manager, and an Assistant Practice Manager.
We are atraining practice with medical students, GP registrars and PA students.
We also haveother staff working within our team under various ARRS roles including a Mental Health Practitioner, Physiotherapy Service, Pharmacist and a Pharmacy Technician, GP Assistant and Physician Associate. We are also an Armed Forces Veteran accredited practice

Job responsibilities
The post holder will report tothe Partners (clinically) and the Practice Manager (administratively).
Thefollowing are the core responsibilities of the salaried GP.
There may be, onoccasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent uponfactors such as workload and staffing levels:
* The delivery of highly effectivemedical care to the entitled population
* The provision of servicescommensurate with our core contract
* Generic prescribing adhering tolocal and national guidance
* Effective management oflong-term conditions
* Processing of administration ina timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and otherassociated administrative tasks
* On a rotational basis, undertakethe duty doctor role
* Maintain accurate clinicalrecords in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance
* Work collaboratively, acceptingan equal share of the practice workload
* Adhere to best practicerecommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process
* Contribute to the successfulimplementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within thepractice
* Attend and contributeeffectively to practice meetings as required
* Ensure compliance with theappraisal process
* Prepare and complete therevalidation process
* Commit to self-learning andinstil an ethos of continuing professional development across the practice team
* Support the partners inachieving the strategic aims of the practice, making recommendations to enhanceincome and reduce expenditure
* Review and always adhere topractice protocols and policies.

Qualifications
* General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
* Full GMC Registration
* National Performers List registration
* Experience of QOF and clinical audits
* Experience of working in General Practice
* Experience of SystmOne Clinical System
