Primary Care Pharmacy Technician – NHS Scotland
Join NHS Forth Valley’s team working within GP practices to support safe, effective pharmaceutical care and ensure patients achieve the best outcomes from their medicines.
As a Primary Care Pharmacy Technician you will:
* Play a key role in supporting safe, effective pharmaceutical care.
* Work with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support workers delivering a well‑respected Pharmacotherapy Service.
* Use effective interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team in hospital, community pharmacy and care homes settings, ensuring seamless pharmaceutical care.
You must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council before you can apply for this post. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential. The duties require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
