Location: Birmingham Duration: Ongoing to May 2026 We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join a main construction contractor on a busy project in Birmingham. Role & Responsibilities: Manage all site activities and scope applicable to the logistics package. Lead and manage the logistics team, including telehandler operators, hoist operators, general operatives, and gateman/traffic marshals. Ensure compliance with Fire, Traffic, and Health & Safety Management Plans. Chair weekly logistics meetings with Site Managers and the Supply Chain to ensure plans are communicated and coordinated. Maintain an accurate site diary detailing daily events, operations, operatives, plant and machinery, issues, and weather conditions. Ensure high standards of housekeeping are maintained on and around site. Ensure sufficient waste receptacles are in place for use by the supply chain. Requirements: Proven experience as a Logistics Manager with a main construction contractor. SMSTS certification. Valid CSCS Card. First Aid certification. Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail. Strong communication, supervision, and management skills.
