Scale 3 Point 5 - 6 (Fulltime equivalent salary £25803 - £26196, Pro Rata salary £18224 - £18501) plus uplift for any hours worked as HLTA
31.25 hours per week - 8.30am to 3.15pm daily with 30 minutes break for lunch.
Term time only - 1 year fixed term contract

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and capable person to join our existing team of Learning Support Assistants.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently, use their own initiative to aid learning and have high, consistent expectations of behaviour. Their literacy and numeracy skills must be of a high standard and they will be able to work in conjunction with the class teacher to support the whole class and small groups. In addition to LSA duties the successful candidate will support lunchtimes daily and lead classes covering PPA and other sessions as required.
As a minimum the successful candidate will have, be working towards or be willing to undertake, both a relevant Level 3 qualification and HLTA training. They must also feel confident in supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Please note that this is a fixed term contract.
