Goods In Coordinator
Location: Based near Basingstoke
Salary: Up to £16.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 16:30

The Opportunity
We are recruiting a Goods In Coordinator for a well-established sub-contract engineering and manufacturing business based near Basingstoke.
This is a key role within the operation, sitting between the workshop, suppliers, and customers. You’ll be responsible for controlling the flow of parts through the business — from goods-in and stock control, through to procurement, packing, and dispatch — using the company’s ERP system.
You’ll have full support from management and the shop floor to ensure customer orders are progressed and delivered on time.
Goods In Coordinator Responsibilities
* Goods in / goods out coordination within a manufacturing environment
* Stock control and purchasing via the company ERP system
* Raising purchase orders to third-party suppliers
* Chasing suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of parts and materials
* Packing and dispatching manufactured components to customers
* Sending parts to external suppliers for processes such as painting or plating
* Tracking outsourced parts and ensuring timely return
* Working closely with inspection to re-package and ship approved parts
* Ordering and managing workshop and office consumables
Goods In Coordinator Profile
* Previous experience in goods in / goods out, stores, or stock control
* Exposure to ERP or MRP systems (training can be provided)
* Understanding of materials and inventory control
* Good IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Clear communicator with a proactive, “can-do” attitude
* Comfortable working in a busy engineering or manufacturing environment
