ASSISTANT RESTAURANT MANAGER | £16.17 per hour
Huck’s American Bar and Grill is part of Center Parcs, with a focus on All-American cuisine. All colleagues working in the following restaurants will benefit from the discretionary service charge added to bills: Rajinda Pradesh, Huck's American Bar and Grill, The Pancake House, Sports Café, The Lakeside Inn, Forester’s Inn and Vitalé Café Bar.
In this role, you will provide coaching and guidance to your team, ensuring guest satisfaction and financial targets are achieved. You will have previous catering or bar management experience at a supervisory level and be able to demonstrate the ability to lead a team. A good financial awareness, computer literacy and analytical skills are required. Good communication skills are essential as you will proactively deal with guest queries whether in your unit or while on site around the village. The successful candidate will also support back-of-house operations and, as part of development, work in a number of units with varying service styles and volumes.
HOURS OF WORK
Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. Your days and hours of work may vary each week, but you will receive at least your contracted hours each period. The village is open 365 days a year, so working hours will include public/bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Essential requirements:
* Ability to lead a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
* A good level of computer literacy and analytical skills
* Previous supervisory experience at a similar level
* Excellent communicator
* Excellent organisational skills whilst working under pressure
Desirable requirements:
* Previous management experience in a large high-volume organisation or venue
* Knowledge of financial targets and controls
