The business will provide strong on the job learning support with the aim of this role growing into a full time, more senior role within the finance team. The right candidate needs to be: Proactive and intuitive Computer and IT literate Strong problem solver Inquisitive and hungry for new knowledge Willing to get stuck in Hard working Go the extra mile Good exam results, especially in Maths and English Accounting/Finance experience would be nice but not essential The role will start with the basics of finance administration covering tasks such as, but not limited to: Assisting with supplier invoices and credits into our IT platforms. Raising internal & external invoices and credits in our IT platforms. Supporting finance team with providing Month-end management accounts. Sending Finance reports out to the internal stakeholders. Administration in our IT systems, processing various financial transactions. Any other ad hoc support needed within the finance and operations. The business will support a strong candidate with regular performance reviews and if they meet our high expectations, they will be rewarded with more complex tasks and responsibility, exposure to new areas of finance and remunerated accordingly. The training you will be getting You will complete a Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship which will include Level 2 Book-Keeping Units if you don't already have these. Level 3 AAT qualification You will be able to progress onto a Higher Level Apprenticeship What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship This is a permanent position, subject to probation.
