Role Overview Reporting to the Head of Group Reporting, the Senior Finance Manager – Group Technical Accounting & Reporting sits within the Group Reporting team. In this highly visible role, you will ensure easyJet complies with all technical accounting and reporting requirements. This includes ensuring complex accounting transactions are recognised in accordance with IFRS, new accounting standards are implemented, and easyJet’s external financial reporting is technically compliant. What Will You Do Prepare, review, and present papers on technical accounting matters to senior management and finance teams. Serve as the first point of contact for accounting technical questions across the business. Oversee production and maintenance of the Group accounting manual. Manage the coordination and implementation of new accounting standards, amendments, and interpretations. Be accountable for the preparation and presentation of the Group statutory accounts. Manage the day-to-day relationship with the Group’s external auditors. Who We Are Looking For Holds a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/CA or equivalent international certification). Brings recent, in-depth technical accounting experience, with strong IFRS expertise (particularly IFRS 16 would be an advantage). Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to understanding complex accounting issues. Communicates complex technical matters clearly and confidently to a wide range of stakeholders. Possesses excellent presentation skills (written and verbal). Has experience operating within large, complex organisations (FTSE, EMEA, or global).
