Overview
We are actively seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to work in a 3-6 month contract with the potential to become permanent, based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
Responsibilities
* Processing supplier invoices
* Resolving discrepancies within internal teams
* Processing UK and International bank payments
* Posting supplier payments to the ERP System
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Managing company credit cards
* Reconciling bank, AP and AR for month end accounts
* Accruing late journals
* Posting recurring journals
* Other ad hoc duties to support the team
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role is essential
* Team player with flexible attitude, able to work with minimal supervision
* Must be able to initially commute to the office every day - hybrid working would be considered after training period
* IT Literate
