We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the automotive industry at our Reading Dealership. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales representatives, and developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

* Sales Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals. Provide guidance and support in developing effective sales strategies and tactics.
* Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial vehicle market. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, fleet operators, and key industry stakeholders.
* Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company objectives and market trends. Analyse sales data and market research to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budget plans. Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
* Customer Relationship Management: Foster long-term relationships with existing customers and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
* Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest commercial vehicle trends, features, and specifications. Provide product training to the sales team to enhance their knowledge and selling capabilities.
* Team Development: Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to enhance the sales team's skills and performance. Encourage professional development and provide constructive feedback.
* Sales Process Optimization: Continuously improve the sales process to streamline operations and maximize efficiency. Implement best practices and leverage technology to enhance sales operations.
* Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay ahead of the market. Utilize market insights to drive business decisions and strategies.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in commercial vehicle sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
* Knowledge of commercial vehicle regulations and compliance is advantageous.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
