Job Title: Duty Manager
Annual Wage: £27k per annum + TRONC & tips
Hours: 40hrs per week

Job Scope:
We are seeking a passionate, industry-driven duty manager to join our brilliant team. The successful candidate will work closely with the GM & AGM, be responsible for championing high standards across the site, provide training for all new or current floor staff, and be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site.
Job Description:
As a Duty Manager for Third Place Ltd, it is your duty to:
* Supervise the floor staff during service, allocating tasks and ensuring professionalism and quality throughout.
* Liaise with bar and security teams to maintain smooth service and responsible alcohol practices.
* Train new and existing floor staff to the standard required for efficient service.
* Perform all opening, running and closing procedures as dictated by the daily setup/breakdown sheet and site core manual.
* Enforce licensing, health & safety, and venue compliance; lead incident response and reporting.
* Champion our service criteria during all on-shift hours, maintaining a level of friendliness and professionalism with all guests.
* Ensure music, lighting, and overall ambience are aligned with venue standards.
* Create and maintain a positive and team-orientated work environment.
* Ensure that guests receive a warm greeting and friendly farewell.
* Display a responsible attitude when performing all financial aspects of your role.
* Understand and implement our company ethos.

The Successful candidate will show:
* Experience successfully leading a team in a service setting. (preferred)
* Excellent knowledge of service and cleaning standards.
* Strong leadership, communication and conflict-resolution skills.
* The ability to work late shifts, weekends & national holidays.
* Care and maintenance of their own personal hygiene.
* Familiarity with using POS systems such as Access or Zonal. (preferred)
* Existing knowledge regarding first-aid or fire safety. (preferred).
Schedule:
- This role will require you to work late shifts and weekend hours. Shift patterns will vary based on general business operations and the rotation of management shifts.
* This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week, 4-5 days in work.
