Contract: Temporary Fixed-term Contract for 3 months, with potential for extension. Start date as soon as possible in July.
Hours: Part-time, 30 hrs per week (4 days per week, 9.00am – 5.00pm).
The organisation has a team of Mental Health Professionals including Clinical Psychologists, CBT Therapists, and Counsellors with clinics based in Tynemouth, Gosforth, Jesmond, Durham, and Hexham. They offer prompt access to high-quality evidence-based talking therapy services, specialist psychological, and neurological assessments.
The Role
They are seeking a part-time Receptionist and Administrator to support them during the summer period, with potential for additional hours during busy times. This role is central to client administrative support, managing incoming calls, diary coordination, and facilitating positive client experiences. It also involves general administration activities and supporting team projects for business improvements.
This is an excellent opportunity for a psychology graduate or individuals with strong administrative skills and an interest in mental health or business development. Key Responsibilities
* Communication and Enquiries: Manage all incoming communications via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring accurate message taking and information transfer.
* Scheduling and Booking Management: Oversee the diary system, manage client appointments, room bookings, and handle enquiries from prospective room users.
* Office and Facility Administration: Maintain clinic facilities, manage supplies, assist with minor issues, and provide in-person greetings and assistance to clients and visitors.
* General Administrative Support: Support sales team, send reports, forward resources, and maintain records.
* Finance Support: Assist with payments and invoicing related to room bookings.
* Project and Business Improvement Support: Collaborate on projects aimed at improving business processes.
* Professional Representation: Represent the company professionally to all clients and stakeholders, upholding the organisation's values.
