Organisation London Broncos Salary Dependent on experience Location South West London Contract type Fixed Term (Full time) Closing date 4 December 2025 Interview date 12 December 2025 Job Description The Senior Physiotherapist will be responsible for contributing to all aspects of the Physiotherapy service provision with a specific focus on the rehabilitation of injured players.
In-short, duties of the Senior Physiotherapist are:
• Assessment, triage and treatment of senior players in the 1st and Reserves teams.
• Manage the Rehabilitation of long-term injured players.
• Provide pitch-side care for First Team matches and training and provide cover for Reserves as required.
• Contribute to medical department initiatives, e.g. injury surveillance, athlete screening, injury prevention, internal professional development.
• Maintain appropriate medical records.
• Keep abreast of current best practices and developments in injury rehabilitation.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the medical team.
Essential Requirements:
• Fully qualified Physiotherapist with a minimum of 5 years post-graduate / elite sports rehabilitation experience.
• CSP and HCPC registration.
• Valid IMMOFP/PHICIS/ATMMIF pitch-side trauma qualification or prepared to complete course upon acceptance of position.
• Able to work Saturdays and Sundays.
Desirable:
• Experience of working in elite level Rugby League or Union.
• MSc Sports Physiotherapy or equivalent.
