HRLife is looking for an HR Operations Manager for an initial 7-month FTC to cover leave. Managing a team of operational HR experts, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with the business to drive operational excellence, participate in projects, manage a high-performing team, and support business growth operationally.
You will be responsible for developing global standards, frameworks, and processes across HR operations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance. Collaboration with global HR teams will be essential to support governance frameworks and escalated employee lifecycle issues.
Additionally, you will oversee operational aspects of new country setups and support the global HRIS implementation.
This role is based in Oxford three days a week and remote two days, ideal for someone seeking a dynamic, multifaceted position.
You will be involved in:
* Leading daily HR operations, including onboarding, payroll, employment changes, documentation, and offboarding.
* Line managing the EMEA HR Ops team, supporting their development and operational excellence.
* Ensuring service delivery aligns with business needs, compliance, and employee experience.
* Setting and maintaining governance frameworks, SOPs, and quality standards globally.
* Defining processes and templates for onboarding, documentation, and policy management.
* Collaborating with regional HR teams to embed standards and ensure local compliance.
* Monitoring adherence to governance and resolving deviations.
* Facilitating knowledge sharing and best practices globally.
* Leading cross-regional reviews for continuous improvement.
* Overseeing setup of new operations related to people activities.
* Contributing to HRIS project, including process testing and requirements definition.
* Supporting change management and training for system adoption.
* Post-launch, supporting system enhancements and process alignment.
* Managing global reporting on headcount, attrition, organizational structure, and workforce metrics.
* Ensuring data accuracy and completeness for analytics.
* Supporting global mobility processes.
Applicants should have previous experience in a similar HR Ops role within a global organization, managing teams with a focus on operational excellence and delivery.
