The Group’s Agribusiness Division operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef, and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland.
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Butter Manufacturing Manager to lead operations at our butter production plant in Bailieborough. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, and contributing to the strategic growth of the site.
You’ll work closely with the site management team to implement continuous improvement initiatives, lead capital projects, and foster a high-performance culture across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute manufacturing plans aligned with business goals.
* Maximise production efficiency, service levels, and yield while minimising waste.
* Collaborate with Engineering to ensure optimal equipment maintenance and OEE performance.
* Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence.
* Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing principles.
* Monitor and report on KPIs, budgets, and plant performance.
* Ensure full compliance with food safety, quality, hygiene, and H&S standards.
* Manage financial budgets and contribute to strategic planning.
* Champion employee engagement and talent development initiatives.
* Lead capital expenditure projects from business case to delivery.
* Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Uphold data protection and health & safety responsibilities.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role, ideally within food production.
* Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to manage budgets, KPIs, and strategic projects.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
* A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for operational excellence.
