Business Development Manager Construction sector specialist Overview: Overseeing the development of a defined Category you will service and ensure a full range of products and services are offered and growth develops across the region. Sales and Business Development of your specialist category (this could be civils, roofing, HVAC etc.) and inclusive product ranges Ensure all products available to us are promoted and sold for a complete category solution Customer Management - Pro-actively target specific customers / customer groups with relevant product ranges and applicable offers Provide excellent advice and assistance to customers; using industry knowledge and product expertise; to help add-on sales, leads linking and improve up-selling opportunities Manage quotations to a conclusion and properly record outcome i.e. won/lost and reasons. Regularly meet and communicate with suppliers and partners to be up to date with product ranges and market information Attend training where required to stay proficient in products and sales techniques Provide coaching and training for team members where required. Perform any other reasonable task as requested to do so by any member of Senior Management within the Company.
