Role Description
* Assist senior designers and design directors in project documentation packages with a focus on design, quality, simplicity and efficiency of multiple high‑quality projects by collaborating with all internal and external teams.
* Assist with key initiatives from creation to implementation. Provide regular updates to management and the project team and work alongside and receive mentorship from Senior Designers.
* Work with the Design team and wider global team to ensure that YANG standards are executed within all design documentation with a very high level of accuracy.
* Support the determination and organization of functional requirements, programming, space planning, and code analysis.
* Develop FF&E proposals, coordinating with suppliers and tracking communications, lead times, and budgets.
* Research and evaluate new materials and suppliers, manage sample and prototype orders, and document all related communications.
Qualifications
* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Bachelor or Master’s degree in Interior Design / Architecture.
* Willing to work in our central London office (1 day per week work from home).
* 2‑6 years of experience in hospitality design, workplace design, luxury residential design projects.
* Software skills: InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, SketchUp.
* Knowledge of Autodesk Revit, 3D Studio Max, and Rhino is advantageous.
* Fluent in English (additional language is advantageous but not essential).
* Strong conceptualization and presentation skills.
* Strong free‑hand sketching skills.
* Strong sense of responsibility, work well under pressure and to timelines, while supporting the wider team.
* Experience in preparing drawing packages and interior detailing.
