Role Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to join our Home Claims team and play a key role in delivering our commercial and supplier strategy. This position focuses on our fast-growing Home product and covers a broad range of responsibilities, including driving commercial initiatives, managing supplier performance, and improving customer outcomes.
You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to help achieve ambitious targets and support our transformation into a best-in-class Home Claims function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to make a real impact.
Job details – you’ll need to have demonstrable experience in:
1. Monitor KPIs using internal and external MI, identifying underperformance and supporting improvement strategies
2. Assist with budget planning, reforecasting, and development of business cases for operational and commercial changes
3. Deliver accurate MI reports and contribute to commercial presentations and performance reviews
4. Lead or support commercial projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery
5. Provide MI insights for supplier performance, driving improvements across the supply chain
6. Champion good customer outcomes by challenging processes that do not meet expectations and ensuring customer interests are central to decision-making
7. Uphold compliance with FCA regulations, complete mandatory training, and maintain role competence
Essential skills/experience:
8. Strong analytical, numerical, and data interpretation skills with proficiency in SQL
9. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience in Microsoft Office tools
10. Skilled in data visualization using Excel and Power BI to communicate insights effectively
11. Ability to synthesise complex data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders
12. Commercially focused, results-driven, and adaptable within fast-paced, matrix environments
13. Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous learning and personal development

14. Recruiter screening call
15. Brief 1st stage interview with the Hiring Manager to discuss your skills and experience in more detail
16. 2nd stage interview consisting of a case study and competency based questions
