Maintenance Engineer
Location: BorehamwoodSalary: up to £57,000 DOE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing site. The role involves maintaining and repairing production and utility equipment, supporting GMP compliance, and driving continuous improvement in a regulated setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance, calibration, and setup of production/utility equipment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and methodically.
* Complete all work and documentation in line with GMP and internal standards.
* Support shift handovers and cross-departmental collaboration.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and compliance initiatives.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and engineering procedures.
Skills & Experience needed for Maintenance Engineer:
* Experience in maintaining pharmaceutical or process equipment (e.g., sterile water systems, HVAC, filling lines).
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in regulated industries (pharma, food, chemical).
* Familiarity with GMP environments and CMMS.
* Good communication and teamwork abilities.
