Overview
The main travel locations for this role will be Bristol and Swindon. This is a fixed‑term contract until 31 March 2027.
Responsibilities
As an Assistant Communities Housing Manager (ACHM), you will provide essential administrative support to ensure our housing operations run smoothly. Your duties include:
* Managing customer enquiries
* Updating systems and coordinating key documents
* Maintaining accurate tenancy records
* Supporting colleagues with the information they need to deliver a great service
* Reporting into the Area Manager and working as part of an established team to manage neighbourhoods
Qualifications
The essential criteria for this role are:
* Social housing experience
* Capable of customer‑facing delivery
* Must have a driving licence and own vehicle
* Experience working within a tenancy and estates management role
* Relevant and up‑to‑date knowledge of housing and tenancy legislation and procedures
Skills & Attributes
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to create and maintain effective working relationships
* Tenacity, resilience, attention to detail and a commercial approach
* Initiative, eagerness to contribute to positive changes, and the ability to evidence service delivery improvements
* Positive motivation and the ability to support others while working autonomously
Basic DBS Check
A basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is mandatory for this role.
