Join Our Team as an Estate Operative!
Job Purpose:
Become a vital part of our Estate Operative Department, where your role will focus on maintaining the cleanliness and waste management of our beautiful community at Beaufort Park (London NW9). Your efforts will help ensure that our residents enjoy a high-standard living environment.
Work Schedule:
Enjoy a balanced work-life with our Sunday to Thursday schedule, giving you Fridays and Saturdays off. You'll work 35 hours per week from 8 AM to 4 PM.
Main Responsibilities:
* Resolve issues while adhering to health and safety guidelines, SOPs, and Risk Assessments.
* Collaborate effectively with contractors and maintenance teams.
* Be resourceful, self-motivated, and adaptable.
* Utilize your physical strength to operate machinery and move heavy equipment.
* Communicate clearly and work both independently and as part of a team.
* Possess a general knowledge of machinery such as Bin Tugs, Compactors, Bailers, and Sweepers.
Specific Duties:
* Move metal/plastic bins on and off trailers.
* Clear and clean designated areas as directed by your Supervisor.
* Disassemble and shift furniture or equipment as needed.
* Manage residential bulk waste disposal.
* Drive the Tug (if you hold a full driving license) and inform the Development Manager.
* Wash down carparks and remove cobwebs and litter as instructed.
* Jet wash hard surfaces, carparks, footpaths, and podiums.
* Work in the compactor room with the bailer and compactor.
* Maintain cleanliness by litter picking and emptying communal bins.
* Sweep and wash down block bin rooms weekly to uphold high standards.
* Unblock bin chutes as directed.
* Ensure property exteriors are well-maintained throughout the seasons.
Essential Requirements:
* Previous experience in estates, cleaning, or caretaker roles.
* A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
