Civil Litigation Lawyer - Sheffield (Local Authority role) Contract role Hourly rate negotiable Full time, 37.5 hours per week Hybrid working We are looking for a qualified solicitor, barrister, or chartered legal executive with full practising rights and has experience in Civil Litigation. The ideal candidate needs to be enthusiastic, flexible and enjoy teamwork. Our Civil Litigation team enjoys a varied and stimulating caseload which helps our client departments including Housing, achieve their key objectives to deal with Claims efficiently and fairly balancing the needs of both the Council and its service users. The caseload will include dealing with disrepair defences, applications to court for injunctions for property access, debt collection matters etc. We are looking to recruit a Lawyer, who has experience of court and preferably also tribunal advocacy work and who is hardworking. We are looking for someone who will have the energy and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in order to help us provide a vital service for our clients.
