Management Accountant - 6 month Fixed Term Contract - Near Honiton. £30k - £40K D.O.E. To cover a Long Term Sickness - Compressed working week: Monday to Thursday 0800-1715 and Friday 0800-1300. Free Parking. 34 days holiday Pro Rata
Key Responsibilities will include:
1. Work closely with the Finance team to ensure that costs are accurately reported
2. Work closely with the project managers on a monthly basis to ascertain the correct levels of work in progress at each period end
3. Maintain the monthly management reporting pack for the group companies to provide accurate and informative management information for the directors
4. Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations
5. Monitor and manage daily cash requirements
6. Ensure VAT is being correctly accounted for on all transaction types
7. Prepare, manage and report against budgets and forecasts for the group companies
8. Monitor and control long term projects
9. Regularly review open projects with the project managers and ensure that relevant projects are collecting costs accurately and completed appropriately
10. Provide support for the production of the statutory accounts for the group companies
11. Provide year end support for auditor requirements
12. Support accounts payable and receivable with details specific information
