This small, friendly residence provides specialist Dementia care for up to 19 residents in a cosy, family-like environment. Care Assistant £12.21 per hour 32.5 hours per week (rotating schedule: Week 1 – Mon 8am-8pm, Wed 8am-8pm, Fri 2pm-8pm, Sat 8am-2pm; Week 2 – Mon 8am-2pm, Wed 2pm-8pm, Fri 8am-8pm, Sun 8am-2pm) Paid breaks Pension, Onsite Parking, Paid DBS, Uniform Provided 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full-time contract The Role As a Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our close-knit care team, ensuring our residents receive exceptional care and support. You’ll help them with their daily routines, promote independence, and ensure their overall health and happiness are prioritised every day. You will assist residents with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility while encouraging them to remain as independent as possible. You’ll follow and support personalised care plans, monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, and communicate any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager. Your role will also involve promoting social interaction, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment, supporting nutritional needs, and spreading joy to residents every day.
