This is a corporate foundation aiming for women and adolescent girls to be free to shape their own destiny and address Gender equality. It works in partnership with nonprofit organisations, international organisations, alliances, academic and research institutions, social businesses and other charitable funds and foundations.
The Paralegal will support the Managing Counsel across a range of legal and operational needs, with their primary responsibility being drafting and reviewing of agreements and contracts requested across the organisation (i.e., Engage stakeholders across the Fondation to understand their contractual needs and goals to ensure requirements are accurately reflected in each contract and that potential risks are appropriately mitigated.
Assure that contractual terms and provisions follow Fondation processes, guidelines, and policies.
Review agreement edits proposed by third parties to the Fondation's standard legal templates and escalates to Chanel legal counsel and stakeholders, as appropriate
Maintains up-to-date internal repositories of templates, training materials, and policies to ensure accessibility and compliance.
Proven project management, time management, and organisation skills, with an ability to manage competing priorities across global teams.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all aspects of contract management, documentation, and communication.
Exposure to international grant-making processes and diverse legal contexts across Europe, Africa, MENA, Asia, the US, and LATAM.
