Electrical Shift Technician – Critical Environment
Location: Romford
Salary: £50,000 per annum
A leading facilities provider is seeking an Electrical Shift Technician to join a critical environment site in Romford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically biased engineer looking for a stable role with strong overtime potential and long-term development, including HV training.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance within a critical environment
* Monitor and maintain electrical infrastructure to ensure uptime and compliance
* Fault finding and first-line response to electrical issues and emergencies
* Complete all works in line with health & safety and site procedures
* Work collaboratively as part of a shift-based engineering team
Shift Pattern
* Continental shift pattern
* 7am–7pm / 7pm–7am
Salary & Benefits
* £50,000 basic salary
* 20 days holiday (pro rata)
* Overtime available and expected (minimum 20 days per year for holiday cover)
* 1.5x Monday–Saturday
* 2.0x Sunday
* Significant overtime opportunities available

* HV training provided
Requirements
* Electrical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* Experience in a critical environment or commercial/industrial setting preferred
* Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
* Willingness to work a continental shift pattern
* HV experience not required – training will be provided
