Senior MRI Radiographer
Tees Valley Hospital, Middlesbrough
Full Time hours per week
We are looking for a suitably qualified MRI Radiographer to join our Radiology team as a Senior Radiographer for our MRI suite within the radiology department.
Duties include:
1. Responsible for the provision of high quality MRI service within financial margins
2. To participate in the provision of a high standard of patient care and treatment
3. Participates as a member of the radiology team in providing a radiographic service throughout the whole of the imaging department
4. Ability to participate in on call rota and work evening / weekends as required
5. Processing radiology bookings
6. RIS/PACS processes
7. Ensuring that the agreed standards of patient care and confidentiality are maintained in accordance with Ramsay policies
Where you’ll be based:
Tees Valley Hospital is in the grounds of Acklam Hall in Middlesbrough and opened in February 2018. The hospital delivers a range of specialties including orthopaedics, general surgery, plastic surgery, urology, gynaecology, dermatology, oral, endoscopy, to both private and NHS patients.
The successful candidate will also hold the following essential qualifications/criteria:
8. Sound written and verbal communication skills
9. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
10. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
11. Demonstrated Customer Service skills
12. Demonstrated Computer Skills
13. Experience working in a healthcare or hospital environment
14. Must have at least three years of up-to-date MRI experience
15. Evidence of post registration development
16. Previous private sector experience (desirable)
