Responsibilities
* Ensure games and applications deliver the best user experience by being bug free.
* Learn and follow Universally Speaking QA processes and professional standards.
* Use industry-standard bug databases to write detailed bug reports that help improve games.
* Report issues and take ownership to ensure bugs are fixed and implemented correctly.
* Become the QA Expert across a broad range of Indie to AAA projects with areas of specialization.
* Own, manage, create, and regularly execute test cases throughout the project life cycle, including document testing practices, QA process, and reporting.
* Actively participate in test requirement gathering with developers to cover all features.
* Look for improvements, take ownership of additional activities, and create efficiencies in the way you work.

Requirements
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
* Passionate about video games

* Pro-active, tenacious, and enthusiastic
* Good with computers — word processing, database handling, record keeping; good working knowledge of MS Office Suite

Nice to have if you have some of the following (not required but useful):
* Management and execution of automated tests
* Experience with version control software, issue/task tracking or project management tools
* Been part of games development projects or jams and familiarity with development engines

Important
After paid training, candidates will be placed in a pool and called to come into the office as project work becomes available. Due to changing client demands and seasonal load, continuous paid work is not guaranteed. All work must be performed on-site in Universally Speaking offices. No remote or hybrid option is available.
