Job Title: Product Owner (Remarketing Field Operations)
Salary: £55,000-£70,000 (Dependant on Experience) + Car Allowance + Bonus!
Location: Hybrid Role, working from home with occasional travel to BCA Sites
Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday – Friday

Main Purpose of The Role:
Reporting into the Head of Product – Inspections, Appraisals and Valuations, you’ll be responsible for products and services that support the efficient running of the UK Remarketing business, enabling operational teams to carry out their processes efficiently, accurately and deliver great service levels to customers.
As a Product Owner you will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from defining the next product innovation to working directly with our product design team and engineers to implement new features & iterate upon feedback. You will use your start-up mind-set and your full range of product development skills to produce elegantly simple features that align to both business & product outcomes. You’ll be expected to push the boundaries of what’s possible, while sharing in our healthy obsession for product, quality and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap, aligning product enhancements with BCA’s mission and competitive position.
* Collaborate with Commercial, Operations and Finance teams on strategic direction and integration within the BCA ecosystem.
* Drive innovation and add value to the product portfolio for internal and external customers.
* Engage with the business community and users to gather feedback and ensure product value.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, working closely with engineers and cross-functional teams.
* Develop a deep understanding of Remarketing Centre operations, processes and key challenges through direct, on the ground interaction with the operations colleagues and the technology products they use
Skills and Experience
Required
* Hands-on Product Owner/Product Manager with experience leading Agile teams to deliver end-to-end products.
* Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional relationships.
* Be curious, and have a strong ability to understand problems at a deep level
* Comfortable working within a high-performing, execution focussed team
* Tenacious and solution-focused, able to handle complexity and drive effective outcomes.
* Experienced in customer interactions, using data and insights to inform roadmap decisions.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, comfortable with ambiguity and detail-oriented.
* Degree-level education or equivalent work experience.
* Proficiency in agile software development tools like Microsoft Azure DevOps or JIRA, alongside discovery and road-mapping tools like Miro and Airfocus
* Deep understanding of software development processes and cycles.
* Preferred knowledge of design thinking, customer mindset, and lean start-up practices.
* Significant experience in delivering successful products, with cultural awareness and emotional intelligence.
