This is a recognised and reputable accounting practice based in south west London. They provide a range of professional services in a number of its specialist fields including tax, and accounts preparation for clients globally.
The team are now looking to build out their real estate division, by recruiting a newly qualified Accountant for a new position as an Audit Assistant Manager. This role will be full-time in office during probation, then 3 days a week.
Role
Reporting into the Director and Partners, the Audit Assistant Manager will take ownership in managing audit engagements, reviewing junior staff work and liaising with clients. They will take on a number of key duties including:
1. Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, working directly with directors/partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
2. Monitor progress of assignments, review work in progress, and support the billing process in line with the firm's commercial principles.
3. Review statutory financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS, ensuring compliance with ISAs and the Companies Act 2006.
4. Prepare and review corporation tax computations and returns where required.
5. Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to introduce wider firm services where relevant.
