At our Kilkeel Facility, we manufacture aircraft interior seating for a number of worldwide customers. As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including a number of Supply Chain Analysts positions in our Seating business located in Kilkeel, Northern Ireland.
What you will do:
Ensure the effective and efficient procurement of parts and materials for use in the assembly of our products. Manage new product introductions and deal with day-to-day transactions and problem solving to ensure supply of materials supports business requirements. The successful candidate will be;
1. Responsible for ensuring the delivery of products based on required demands.
2. Working as part of the wider team to ensure the successful procurement and delivery of products across the supply chain and client base.
3. Maintaining on time delivery parts to meet production requirements.
4. Ensuring on-time delivery of quality materials within budget to ensure continued customer satisfaction.
5. Performs data manipulation and system development to support purchasing, materials, shipping and planning operations as required.
6. Interprets data and provides recommendations and/ or defines trends that result in cost reductions or improved efficiency.
7. Analyses current operational procedures, identify problems, and provide technical assistance to meet user requirements.
8. Ensuring the accurate and timely maintenance of all systems and records.
9. New Product Introduction: sourcing, new supplier set up, pricing agreements and negotiate LTAs
10. Responsible for managing the implementation of engineering changes across multiple aircraft seating platforms.
What you need to succeed?
Essential Criteria:
11. Minimum of 2 years’ working experience in a comparable role in Supply Chain, Material Management, Procurement or similar relevant discipline within a manufacturing or comparable environment.
12. Strong analytical, organisational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
13. Ability to work independently on multiple tasks with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
Desirable Criteria:
14. Qualified or working towards CIPS / CPIM qualification.
15. Experience and working knowledge of ERP and MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) packages.
