Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic, friendly kitchen team member to join our amazing, vibrant team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in serving exceptional food experiences to our customers.
Your responsibilities will consist of various aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring that our food is prepared efficiently and in accordance with food safety standards and our menu.
We have a different take on a food menu here at No.7, the menu consists of pancakes, bagels, loaded fries and crepes. So knowledge on the making of any of the above would be amazing. You will be required to use a crepe iron and make the crepes and pancakes from scratch, so someone who is willing to learn the making of crepes is desirable.
If you have a passion for low level cooking and a desire to make our food look pretty on a plate and to work in a small work environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with the front of house staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow.
* Follow the menu accurately.
* Ensure all food safety practices are followed, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
Skills
* Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe environment is needed.
* Aged 18+
* Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Previous knowledge of coffee making or barista trained persons. Basic alcohol making/mixing knowledge is essential.
At No.7 we are a small, close knit team and we are looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing, confident and willing to learn how we work and who is flexible with working in the kitchen and out on the front of house.
START DATE- START OF NOVEMBER.
INTERVIEW AND TRAINING- END OF OCTOBER.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
