We are recruiting for specialist schools in York. As a Specialist Intervention Assistant, you will deliver targeted interventions for pupils with SEND and SEMH needs, working closely with teaching staff to improve engagement, learning outcomes, and behaviour.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions tailored to pupils’ needs.
2. Support pupils’ learning, social, and emotional development.
3. Implement and monitor positive behavioural strategies.
4. Encourage independence, confidence, and resilience.
5. Record progress and provide feedback to SENCO and teachers.
