They’re looking for an Operational Finance Business Partner to work closely with site leadership, not from the sidelines, but as part of the team. The purpose of the role is simple, connect operational performance to financial outcomes, bring clarity to cost and margin, and help the factory make better decisions. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll act as the bridge between Finance and Operations That means understanding what’s happening on the ground, yield, scrap, downtime, throughput, capacity and translating it into meaningful financial insight. It means supporting budgeting and forecasting, building stronger visibility around standard costing and variances, and helping leadership understand the true impact of operational performance Constructive challenge around cost control Not from a position of theory but from understanding how a factory really runs. You’ll sit alongside operational leaders and be a trusted advisor. You’ll support site performance reviews, evaluate investment decisions, and help drive continuous improvement in reporting and financial transparency The opportunity lies in strengthening structure, improving reporting quality, and shifting time away from preparation and toward analysis and action What You Need You’ll likely be a qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong manufacturing finance experience You’ll understand standard costing, variance analysis and operational cost drivers You’ll be confident enough to influence experienced leaders and practical enough to work in an environment that values clarity over complexity Most importantly, you’ll enjoy partnering with the business, not just producing numbers, but shaping what happens next If you’re looking for a role where Finance has a genuine seat at the operational table, this is worth exploring.
