A Secondary school in the Witham area is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team!
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and helping pupils thrive in their learning environment. Whether it's providing one-to-one support, working with small groups, or assisting with classroom activities, your contribution will help create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons
* Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning
* Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources
* Encourage student participation and monitor progress
* Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy
* Support children with additional needs, where required
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
* Previous experience working with children ideally in an educational setting.
* Has a positive attitude and a genuine passion for education
* Is patient, caring, and able to build strong relationships with students
* Has good communication and teamwork skills
* Is flexible and able to use their initiative
* (Desirable) Holds a relevant TA qualification or has previous experience working in a school setting
