Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Join a Skilled Team as a Bench Joiner! We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bench Joiner to join a talented workshop team on a permanent basis. If you take pride in craftsmanship and have a keen eye for detail, wed love to hear from you. What's on offer: Salary: £35000 Holiday: 22 days annual leave + bank holidays Healthcare: UK Healthcare Cash Back Plan Sick Pay: 5 days Company Sick Pay per year (Unused days paid as a bonus at the start of the new financial year) Pension: Standard Workplace Pension PPE & Uniform Provided: Sweatshirts, t-shirts/polo shirts, trousers, and all necessary PPE Key Responsibilities: Produce full-sized working rods within set timeframes Create clear and precise cutting lists Measure and mark cutting lines using appropriate tools Verify components match drawings and specifications Operate woodworking machinery and power tools Cut, shape, dry-assemble and final-assemble joinery components Fit ironmongery, fixtures, and fittings with precision Perform quality checks and sign off on completed products Support site fitting teams as required Prioritise Health & Safety in the workplace Attend training sessions and work additional hours when necessary What Were Looking For: Qualifications: City & Guilds / NVQ in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent) Experience: Demonstrable bench joinery experience Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong understanding of traditional and modern joinery techniques Excellent planning, organisation, and attention to detail Good communication and team-working skills Problem-solving ability and a positive, can-do approach Broad knowledge of materials and related trades Ready to take your joinery career to the next level?
