Our Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC) ensures accommodation and support for some of society's most vulnerable people. Join us as a Qualified Supervisor in our Electrical Department and help us deliver safe, high-quality electrical services across the Midlands and East of England.
As a Qualified Supervisor, you'll act as the bridge between the Electrical Manager and our team of field engineers. You'll ensure compliance, provide technical support, and uphold high standards of quality and safety across all electrical activities.
Responsibilities
 * Provide technical supervision and guidance to engineers and subcontractors.
 * Carry out audits of electrical works, suppliers, and certification.
 * Conduct EICR, fire alarm, and emergency lighting testing where required.
 * Review and verify electrical reports and certification for accuracy.
 * Support the Electrical Manager with compliance, training, and legislative updates.
 * Identify and coordinate training needs to maintain staff qualifications.
 * Liaise with contractors, landlords, and stakeholders to support maintenance delivery.
 * Participate in on-call and out-of-hours rosters to support 24/7 operational coverage.
Qualifications
 * JIB Gold Card
 * 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
 * 18th Edition BS7671
 * SSSTS/SMSTS (preferred but not essential)
 * Strong understanding of electrical compliance and safety standards
 * Good leadership and communication skills
 * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
