An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Pensions Consultant to join a leading employee benefits and pensions consultancy.
This is a dynamic, client-facing role focused on managing and growing a portfolio of corporate pensions and employee benefits clients. You’ll be responsible for delivering expert advice, building strong relationships, and contributing to strategic initiatives that drive client success and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop a portfolio of corporate pension and employee benefits clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and tailored advice.
* Provide expert consultancy on Corporate DC Pensions and related employee benefits solutions.
* Support the development of innovative pension strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, trustees, and internal teams.
* Identify new business opportunities through cross-selling, referrals, and professional networks.
* Prepare and negotiate service and fee proposals within agreed frameworks.
* Monitor income, manage budgets, and ensure effective financial control across client portfolios.
* Maintain compliance with all regulatory and engagement procedures.
* Deliver high-quality reports, presentations, and client communications.
* Mentor and support junior consultants and team members to build their pensions expertise.
* Contribute to internal projects, meetings, and initiatives to promote best practice and innovation within the business.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience within corporate pensions consultancy, with strong technical knowledge of DC pensions and related benefits.
* Relevant industry qualifications such as PMI Diploma (or working towards).
* Strong understanding of the UK pensions and benefits regulatory environment.
* Demonstrable experience managing complex, high-value corporate client relationships.
* Excellent relationship management and communication skills, with confidence presenting at senior stakeholder or board level.
* Commercially minded, proactive, and skilled at identifying business opportunities.
