What you will do:
* Deliver outreach programs designed to engage individuals who are traditionally hard to reach, fostering trust and support.
* Support individuals in accessing vital drug and alcohol services, promoting healthier lifestyle choices and recovery.
* Provide harm reduction strategies and focus on recovery support, guiding individuals towards positive change.
* Collaborate with rough sleepers, hostels, and vulnerable groups to understand their unique challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
* Work closely with housing, mental health, and probation teams to ensure a holistic support approach for service users.
Requirements for the role of Substance Misuse Outreach Worker:
* Recent experience in fields such as Substance Misuse, Substance Abuse, Addiction, Drug and Alcohol, Needle Exchange, or Recovery.
* Relevant qualifications or certifications that underline your commitment and expertise in this area.
