Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East are looking for a Sales Advisor to join our newly opened Burnham store. This is two part time position, 2 days a week (which includes alternative Saturdays) and the rate of pay is £12.21 an hour.
The successful candidates main responsibilities will be to maximise store sales and profits and to represent Age concern Slough and Berkshire East as an efficient and charitable organisation.
You will be expected to provide excellent customer service to face to face customers as well as over the phone.
Responsibilities
· Greet, assist and sell to customers – ask the right questions, find to solutions to customer needs
· Operate till and handle financial transactions
· Merchandise and replenish stock as directed
· Assist with deliveries and stock handling as directed
· Undertake cleaning and housekeeping duties
· Continually develop an understanding of the company's culture, products, ethical initiatives, other areas of business, and reflect this in everyday performance
· Take responsibility for personal development and actively seek opportunities for improvement
· Keeping merchandise and shop display clean and tidy
· Pricing stock
Ideally Candidates will have previous experience in sales, excellent communications skills, an eye for details and a good knowledge of health and safety.
