The Opportunity
We are recruiting a Technical Supervisor to act as the technical lead, responsible for the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of all technical services. This role is critical to ensuring high standards of planned, reactive and corrective maintenance while minimising business disruption for our client.
You will be the key technical point of contact on site, leading a team of technicians, managing specialist subcontractors, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the site technical services lead, ensuring compliance with all legislative, client and CBRE health, safety and environmental requirements
Manage and coordinate all planned, reactive and corrective maintenance activities
Lead and develop an on‑site technical team, maximising self‑delivery of works
Manage specialist subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time and to standard
Champion Maintenance Excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
Support budget management in line with contract and service line requirements
Provide technical solutions and prepare quotations for small project works
Identify and support opportunities for additional services and increased scope
Provide technical support across a wide range of industrial technical services
Carry out hands‑on maintenance activities when required (e.g. emergency response or cover)
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
An engineering or technical background with strong hands‑on experience
Proven experience supervising technical or maintenance teams
Strong knowledge of EHS requirements and safe systems of work
Excellent planning, scheduling and organisational skills
Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Ability to estimate labour, materials, and skills required for maintenance works
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Competence reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints
Experience using work order systems and maintenance planning processes
A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and the ability to lead by example
