Overview
As a Technical Sales Manager, you will support franchisees and the sales team in scoping, pricing, winning, and executing drainage projects. Your technical knowledge of drainage and pumps, combined with strong communication skills, will ensure every project meets and exceeds client expectations.
Responsibilities
* Support franchisees and sales team in scoping, pricing, winning, and executing drainage projects.
* Drive business growth by uncovering and developing new opportunities.
* Work within the UK water company AMP cycles to support sales functions.
* Manage projects end‑to‑end from client scoping to delivery.
* Provide technical consultancy and project scoping support.
* Engage with clients and solve operational challenges.
Qualifications
* Outstanding background in drainage operations (survey, maintenance, rehabilitation, pumping systems and treatment plants).
* Experience in sales support, project scoping, or technical consultancy.
* Hands‑on project management skills.
* Willingness to get involved practically where needed.
* Willing to travel approximately 3 days per week.
* Knowledge of health & safety, compliance standards and drainage law.
* Strong customer service orientation and ability to own a challenge to resolution.
* Motivation to learn and develop.
* Collaborative approach and excellent stakeholder management skills.
* Proactive, enthusiastic, and solutions‑focused.
Preferred Qualifications
* IOSH Managing Safely
* SMSTS
* Hands‑on training in patch repairs and full‑length liner installs.
* Confined spaces Medium Risk
* OS19X certification
* Knowledge of plumbing work.

Salary up to £48,000 DOE + commission. Full‑time permanent. 3 days per week travel.
