Our client, a leading innovator in their sector, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven International Sales Director to spearhead growth in key overseas markets. This role is ideal for a commercially driven “hunter” who thrives on winning new business and forging strategic partnerships, particularly within Europe.
The Role
You will be responsible for identifying, approaching, and securing new high-value accounts, with a strong focus on major retailers, distributors, and key market players. This is a hands-on, commercially focused position, dedicated to opening new channels and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a targeted international new business strategy, prioritising European expansion.
* Identify and engage potential clients, distributors, and partners to establish new sales channels.
* Negotiate high-value contracts and commercial agreements.
* Build strong, long-term relationships with new partners, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategy.
* Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings and logistics to market needs.
About You
* Proven track record in international new business development within a manufacturing or product-led industry.
* Strong existing network and relationships with international retail and distribution partners.
* Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to close complex deals.
* Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven, with a passion for building new revenue streams.
* Willingness to travel across Europe to meet clients and attend trade shows.
