MacGregor Black is partnering with a premium consumer durables brand to recruit an International Sales Manager. This is a permanent, hybrid role offering the chance to shape the brand’s global future.
As International Sales Manager, you will take ownership of driving international market expansion, elevating distributor performance, and delivering strong commercial results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive sales, margin, and profitability across assigned international territories.
* Lead the development and execution of international growth strategies.
* Build, onboard, and energise distributor partners to maximise brand impact.
* Work closely with compliance teams to ensure seamless product launches in new markets.
* Deliver accurate commercial forecasting and performance reporting.
* Partner with distributors on trade marketing initiatives to drive visibility and sell-through.
* Act as a key escalation point—resolving challenges quickly while protecting brand equity and performance.
* Implement corrective actions and recovery plans when territories fall below target.
* Contribute actively to international sales meetings and planning sessions.
* Use balanced scorecards and market insights to identify new growth opportunities.
* Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and prioritise new territories for expansion.
* Deliver exceptional product training to partners, ensuring they can confidently maximise sales opportunities.
* Shape NPD launch strategies to create strong international commercial outcomes.
* Use segmentation insights to optimise execution across all routes to market.
* Manage territory P&Ls with a sharp focus on margin, cost control, and net revenue.
* Ensure distributors uphold premium brand standards at all times.
* Represent the brand at key global industry events, including Kind & Jugend and Harrogate.
What We’re Looking For:
* 3–5 years’ Sales Management experience—international exposure preferred.
* Experience within premium branded consumer goods.
* A creative, marketing-driven mindset to deliver standout product launches.
* Willingness to travel internationally.
* Consistent record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
* Strong IT skills, especially Excel and Office Suite.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, trusted relationships.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
* High attention to detail and strong follow-through.
