Job Summary
Part‑time Specialty Dentist in Restorative Dentistry, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust with a special interest in endodontics. The successful candidate will be based at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, Sheffield. The full post entails 0.5 whole time equivalents. Starting salary to be based on experience.

Main Duties
The appointee will be expected to work independently under the supervision of one of the Consultants. They will be expected to have a good level of knowledge in the field of Restorative Dentistry. The post will involve delivering a core level of outpatient endodontic teaching. The successful candidate will work flexibly and cooperatively with the other members of the team in order to provide a high quality and comprehensive service within the Charles Clifford Dental Services Academic Directorate. There are no on‑call responsibilities associated with this post.

Person Specification
* Personal Attributes – Good written and oral communication skills
* Teaching – Willingness and ability to teach undergraduate and postgraduate trainees
* Audit/Research – Understanding of clinical effectiveness and audit; ability to critically assess published research and incorporate it into practice
* Management and Clinical Governance – Demonstrate an understanding of management and clinical governance issues
* Qualifications / Experience / Entry Criteria – Dental Degree; qualifications required for post BDS or equivalent; full registration with the GDC; minimum 4 years full‑time postgraduate training, at least 2 in the relevant specialty
Desirable
* Documented completed audits during training
* MBBS or equivalent
* MFDS, MJDF, FDS or equivalent
* Wider experience in different Restorative Dentistry units
