I am working with a friendly and supportive SEN school based in the Wimborne area, committed to providing high-quality education for pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and moderate to complex learning difficulties. Our school prides itself on its nurturing environment, where every pupil is valued and supported to achieve their full potential.

The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will support pupils in their learning and personal development, working closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver a tailored and engaging educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils
* Assist in delivering personalised learning activities
* Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Help pupils develop social, emotional, and communication skills
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
* Support with personal care needs where required
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
* A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
* Flexibility and the ability to adapt to individual pupil needs
* A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
