The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will support pupils in their learning and personal development, working closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver a tailored and engaging educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils
* Assist in delivering personalised learning activities
* Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Help pupils develop social, emotional, and communication skills
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation
* Support with personal care needs where required
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred but not essential)
* A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
* Flexibility and the ability to adapt to individual pupil needs
* A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
