The White Hart has established itself as the go to food venue in Warrington Town Centre. We are looking for a head Chef who is eager to develop our menu and push the envelope to ensure we are always number one. You will have the support of a small company giving you the tools you need to complete the job.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to food safety. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation while fostering a positive and productive working environment.

Responsibilities

* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members to enhance their culinary skills.
* Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish served.
* Develop and implement creative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
* Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
* Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling food costs to maximise profitability.
* Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure cleanliness and organisation of work areas.
* Lead by example, demonstrating a hands-on approach to cooking and food preparation.

Qualifications

* Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
* Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
* Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and cooking methods.
* Familiarity with hospitality standards and customer service excellence.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
* In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Previous experience in menu development and cost management is advantageous.
